Screen printing is the process of transferring ink through a fine mesh screen directly onto a CD or DVD. You are probably familiar with the screen printing of T-shirts; CDs / DVDs are printed in a similar fashion, but the equipment is more automated and the process is faster. This process utilizes a 120 line screen (the number of lines or dots per inch on a halftone screen), providing excellent quality for PMS colors, and reasonable quality for four-color process. For a better four-color process match to your packaging materials, we offer the latest in Offset printing. Offset printing onto CDs / DVDs is similar to Offset printing of a high quality magazine: it's the process of using an intermediate blanket cylinder to transfer an image from the image carrier directly onto the CD / DVD. This process utilizes a 175 line screen, providing excellent quality for four-color process. How it works:
