Printing Tips
Desktop Publishing, a term coined by Paul Brainerd, the founder of Aldus Corporation (developed PageMaker software), was developed in the 1980's along with the advent of personal computers. Aldus launched the first real desktop publishing application, PageMaker, in 1985. PageMaker was developed initially to run exclusively on the Macintosh platform and it wasn't until 1987 that a version was developed to run on Windows.
